Terms of Service
Last updated: July 30, 2026
These terms cover using the extensionstart.com website and buying ExtensionStart, a one-time payment for access to the private source-code repository. The license and refund policy are part of these terms.
Who we are
ExtensionStart is operated and sold by West Wanted LLC, 522 W Riverside Ave Ste N, Spokane, WA 99201, US. "We" and "us" on this page (and in the license, refund policy, and privacy policy) means West Wanted LLC. You can reach us at support@extensionstart.com.
Using the site
The site's content (docs, blog posts, the demo) is provided for information. You may not scrape the site to resell its content, attempt to break its security or the demo extension's backend, use automated tools to disrupt either, or use the site or demo to violate the law or the rights of others. Content is provided "as is"; we work to keep it accurate but it isn't professional advice (legal, tax, or otherwise), and building an extension business on it is your call and your responsibility. The site links to third-party sites we don't control and aren't responsible for.
What you're buying
A purchase grants one developer access to the private ExtensionStart GitHub repository: the extension starter kit, core packages, billing backend, tooling, tests, and documentation, including changes made to that repository after your purchase (see the updates page for exactly what that covers). Delivery is by GitHub invite to the email address you purchase with, normally within minutes. If the invite doesn't arrive, email us; delivery problems are ours to fix.
License
What you may and may not do with the code is governed by the ExtensionStart license. The short version: one developer per license; build and ship unlimited extensions, commercial or free, closed-source, no attribution; don't resell or republish the kit itself. Your own extension code belongs to you; the kit's code remains our intellectual property, licensed to you, as is all content on this site.
Refunds
Every purchase comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. The full policy, including how to request one, what happens to repository access, how EU/UK withdrawal rights interact with immediate digital delivery, and how chargebacks are handled, is at extensionstart.com/refunds. By purchasing, you consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that the statutory withdrawal period ends when delivery begins; our voluntary guarantee is longer anyway.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted pages; we never see your card details. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future buyers at any time; the price you paid is the price you paid. You are responsible for any taxes shown at checkout that apply to your purchase. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us before disputing it with your card issuer; see the refund policy for how chargebacks are handled.
Support and updates
Updates land in the repository you already have access to. Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis by email; it covers the kit itself, not general development of your product, and doesn't come with a guaranteed response time.
Third-party services
The kit integrates Firebase, Stripe, and browser extension stores. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and their costs (if any) are yours. We are not responsible for their availability or policy decisions, including extension-store review outcomes for products you build.
Termination
We may suspend or revoke repository access if you materially breach these terms or the license (sharing repo access or republishing the kit are the obvious cases) or while a payment dispute is pending. Where the breach is fixable, we'll normally contact you first; we're not in the business of surprise revocations. Access also ends with a refund or chargeback. Sections of these terms that by their nature outlive access (IP ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.
Disclaimer and liability
The site and the kit are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or the outcome of any browser-store review), and our total liability arising from these terms or the kit is limited to the amount you paid for the kit. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions; where that's you, these limits apply to the fullest extent they lawfully can, and nothing here limits rights that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute that we can't resolve informally will be brought in the state and federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington. Before it gets anywhere near that: email us. Almost everything is fixable with one message to support@extensionstart.com.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves; the "last updated" date above changes whenever the terms do, and changes apply to site use from the moment they're posted. Your purchase is different: the terms, license, and refund policy in effect at the time you bought govern that purchase; a later edit can't shrink what you already paid for.
General provisions
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. If we don't enforce a provision immediately, we haven't waived it. These terms, together with the license, refund policy, and privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and West Wanted LLC about the site and the kit.
