Refund Policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
ExtensionStart comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the kit isn't what you expected, you get your money back; the whole policy fits on this page.
The guarantee
If you request a refund within 30 days of purchase, we refund the full amount to your original payment method. It's no-questions-asked: you don't have to justify anything. We may ask what didn't work for you (honest feedback makes the kit better), but answering is optional and never a condition of the refund.
How to request one
Email support@extensionstart.com from the address you purchased with (or include your receipt) and say you'd like a refund. We process refunds through Stripe; once issued, the money typically appears back on your card within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
The honest caveat
A refund ends your license: your access to the private GitHub repository is revoked when the refund is issued, and you may no longer use or keep the source code; that includes copies, clones, and anything that is substantially the kit. That's the trade: full refund, but you don't keep the product. (This is different from the product ever being discontinued, where you do keep the source; see the updates page.)
If you're in the EU or UK
Consumer law in the EU and UK gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content delivered immediately (which is what ExtensionStart is; the GitHub invite arrives within minutes), that statutory right ends when delivery begins with your agreement, and by purchasing you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that. In practice this costs you nothing here: our voluntary 30-day guarantee is longer than the statutory window and has fewer conditions. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights that can't be waived.
Chargebacks and disputes
If anything about a charge looks wrong, email us first; a refund from us takes one email and lands faster than a card dispute resolves. If a chargeback is opened, we suspend repository access while it's pending; a chargeback decided in your favor is treated exactly like a refund (license ends, access stays revoked). Filing a chargeback instead of using this policy doesn't get a different outcome; it's the same refund with more paperwork for everyone.
Abuse
The guarantee exists so that buying the kit is risk-free, not so the kit can be used for free. We reserve the right to decline a refund where there's clear evidence of abuse: for example, repeat purchase-and-refund cycles, or continuing to use or distribute the code after a refund. This clause is for edge cases; ordinary "it wasn't for me" refunds are always honored.
Questions
Not sure whether the kit fits your project? Ask support@extensionstart.com before buying; we'd rather tell you it's not a fit than process a refund.
